Well the Crantock house didn't happen. Sadly it was condemned with mundic block..... Such a great property but beyond economical repair.
We then went on to work on the Doc Martin set again with friends of ours. Great fun to paint really badly (required) and to do a few effects!!
We then did the Findus Youngs Fish n Chips, Fishermen's Friends, advert in Port Issac - the inside of a boat, in the inside the RNLI office. The closing shot featured Steve's hand.....and the boys singing was pretty good too!!
And then an advert for Dove shower gel, where we had to build a working, hot & high pressure shower, in a barn, in the middle of nowhere, on the top of dartmoor. Quite a challenge, especially at short notice, but pulled it off, under high pressure!, with kids happy in the care of grandpa! Kisses & hugs all round, at the end of the shoot from the director & the crew.xxx
Painted a kitchen, and Steve fitted an understairs door for very lovely lady in Bodmin, and decorated a bedroom & bathroom for a doctor in Porthtowan.
On-going job, just finished, fitting double glazed units into x5 existing wooden sash windows to another house in Crantock. Now replacing flat roof with a slated pitched roof to a what-will-be-glorious, garden summer house in Newquay.
Two quotes to do for whole houses. Feel like we are back!
