We've been renovating properties across Cornwall since 1996, and we understand that having builders in your home is a big commitment. Clear communication is key - we keep you informed throughout the project, answer your questions honestly, and work collaboratively to achieve the results you want.

Whether you're living in the property during works or based elsewhere (we've managed projects for clients as far away as Singapore), we maintain high standards of workmanship throughout.

Our Approach to Pricing

​

We work on a day rate basis, payable at the end of each week. This means you only pay for work that's been completed, and costs are spread throughout the project.

​

Before we start, we'll give you a realistic ballpark cost for your project based on our 25+ years of experience. We'll also discuss a materials budget upfront.

Each week, you'll receive:

​

• Number of days worked

• Labour costs

• List of materials purchased

• Remaining materials budget​

 

We'll give you realistic estimates based on our experience, but we work on actual costs rather than fixed quotes. Renovation work can often reveal surprises - some good, some challenging - and we believe in being upfront about that from the start. The day rate approach gives us flexibility to adapt while keeping you informed of costs as we go.

 

We don't mark up materials, and VAT only applies to labour.
